Dexter

Dexter is my new favorite TV show...It's about a serial killer cop who only kills criminals. It actually reminds me of a the movie that I wrote a few years ago (and STILL haven't finished). The idea of a cop who kills the criminals that can't be caught through the regular justice system is very intriguing to me. on one side he is making the world safer, but on the other he is contradicting his role as a cop by murdering people. There are valid argiments on each side, but the conceept makes the show very entertaining.

Oh, I almost forgot. The token black guy (Doakes) is such an over-the-top d*ckhead that he is comical at times, but the whole show is like a cartoon with real people. Overall the acting is pretty robotic, but all characters work. The story lines are far from cliche and even when you think you are watching a typical cop drama...some crazy sh*t happens. Great Show.
