Black Nerds

There haven't been any good black nerds on TV lately. There was a time when they were all over...Urkle, Carlton, Roger from What's Happening. Now, we don't see any Black nerds. Black Nerds on TV have helped to restore the balance of the perception of Black males on TV. The Nerds won't rob, rape, or beat you...and they are probably smarter than you too, WE NEED MORE BLACK NERDS ON TV!!!!!!

Black Nerd All Stars:

Carlton (Fresh Prince of Bel Air)



He's corny, listens to the same music as a 50 year old White Woman, no rhythm, is spoiled and sheltered by his Rich Parents, and is completely HARMLESS. Oh and lets not forget the fact that he wears bow-ties, sweaters and khakis for virtually every occasion. If that doesn't scream "I have no intention of harming you or your family" then I don't know what does.


Roger (What's Happening)




Roger wasn't really much of a nerd, but the glasses, baby afro, and often awkward ways, made him the original non-threatening black male.

Urkle (Family Matters)



The ultimate TV Nerd. He's abnormally smart, socially inept, clumsy and awkward, and has the voice of a 3 year old girl. He is the epitome of Nerd.
